I'M FRED:)
Forged from creating One Direction fan edits, my passion for Graphic Design was born. In middle school, I started pixel pushing on Gimp and iMovie. My curiosity in digital creation grew.
Now (some years later), I focus on creating impact driven designs from branding, digital, and print deliverables for growing businesses. I love utilizing design as a tool to communicate what's important and increase visual engagement.
Previously, I worked at A.S. Graphic Studio as an in-house contract Designer collaborating with my creative team to create deliverables for various stakeholders. Currently, I Freelance as a Graphic Designer working with growing businesses and creating my own design content. WHAT INSPIRES ME?
Design came to me through my love for music. It is a source of inspiration when I'm clicking through Illustrator, conceptualizing a video, or need to be in the zone for choreo class. I love attending concerts or a local jazz nights - a festival if I'm feeling the trek for that year.
My internal world tends to come out in how I express myself in clothes or my hair. I've been through the most dramatic phases from having pink hair to a more feminine leaning wardrobe. Playing with different silhouettes in a more thought through outfit tingles my creative brain. I feel the baddest when I'm comfy and wearing something that feels right on that day.
Having a group that shares the same values and interests fuels me. I'm blessed to have built communities in my personal life that allow me to be unapologetically myself and motivates me through their own authenticity. In this next era of my life, I'm on a mission to build community through design and creativity.
